Located in a Victorian water pumping station by the River Wye, the interesting Waterworks Museum in Hereford tells the story of drinking water from the time of cave-dwellers to the present day.
Visitors can get hands on with the historic water devices in the Noel Meeke Heritage Water Park. Try filtering water, produce hydro-electric power with the waterwheel, make the village pump work and more. Try and visit on a Steam Day when engines and pumps can be seen working.
Please see the Waterworks Museum’s website for further information.
