Nestled in the tranquil East Devon countryside, The Donkey Sanctuary is home to hundreds of donkeys, mules and hinnies. These lovely animals have all been rescued from mistreatment or relinquished into the charity’s care.
The donkeys love to meet new people, so go along and discover their unique characters and stories, completely free of charge.
Enjoy scenic farm trails, the farm-themed play area and get lost in the Maze.
There is an award-winning restaurant with gorgeous views, that also does takeaways to enjoy in the picnic areas.
There is also a lovely gift shop.

Donkey delight
All the children had such a nice time at this place and we will definitely go back again when the weather is better. We loved the donkeys! My son even wants to adopt one.
