Swansea Bike Path

Pick a fine day, leave the car behind and plan a family day out exploring on two wheels. Cycle for six miles along Swansea Bike Path, a flat and traffic-free route following the former railway line to Mumbles. It is an ideal family cycle route. Allow time to take a break and explore attractions such as the National Waterfront Museum or the delightful seaside village of Mumbles and Oystermouth Castle along the way.

Families with older children may be interested in cycling from Swansea to Kidwelly, about 24 miles. This extended ride is also traffic free apart from a short section at Gowerton.
