Sunderland Aquatic Centre offers a great range of activities and sports to keep you and your family active.

At Sunderland Aquatic Centre there is, of course, a fabulous Olympic-sized swimming pool – offering family sessions, fun with the region’s biggest mega pool inflatable, award-winning swimming lessons and diving lessons.

The centre is also home to one of Sunderland’s premier soft play areas! Suitable for kids from toddlers through to eight years old, it features slides, ball pools and plenty of opportunities to climb, clamber and explore. Casual sessions are available as well as exclusive hire for a party all the kids will remember. And while the kids are busy having fun, you can enjoy a coffee and freshly made hot or cold food from the café.

Grown-ups in your family will also appreciate the state-of-the-art gym, cycling studio and an extensive group exercise programme including everything from HIIT to Pilates and Yoga.
