South Lakes Safari Zoo

One of the favourite things to do with the kids is a visit to the zoo and your trip to South Lakes Safari Zoo has the added advantage of being able to interact with the animals at close quarters. Plan an interactive ’wild animal’ day with the kids and see the ’big cats’, come face to face with rhinos, lions, tigers, bears, hippos, wolves, snow leopards, jaguar and more. Get hands-on feeding kangaroos, walk in among and hand feed penguins and lemurs, and get eye to eye with giraffes on the walkway in the tree-top canopy and you can even book an experience feeding one of the big cats.
