Whitehouse Farm Centre details...

Whitehouse Farm Centre has provided interaction, education and most of all fun for all since 1997!!  As Northumberland’s largest family run farm attraction spread over 40 acres, Whitehouse Farm Centre is located south of Morpeth and just a mile off the A1.

The Farm is a great place for families, school and group visits of all ages enabling visitors to see, handle and feed a wide variety of animals from traditional breeds to more unusual and exotic species. There is always a full programme of hands on activities from meeting mini beasts and reptiles, hugging a bunny, stroking anything from a snake to sheep, being mesmerised by meerkats and marmosets to having a hoot with the owls and birds of prey in our New and Improved Interactive Bird of Prey Centre.

The farm park is always evolving to offer even more adventure to a day out at the farm.  The centre piece of Hoglets Adventure Playground is the HUGE Pyramid Trio Slide Tower, which stands over 12 metres high! It is surrounded by an impressive selection of interactive play equipment including a 30m Zip Wire, Solar Spinner, 5 Point Swing, Pick Up Sticks and much more.

Whitehouse Farm always works hard to accommodate the needs of less able visitors, and strive to make the farm a fun day out for everyone no matter what limitations they may have.  Play options have been included which are accessible for all, including the Swirl Roundabout which offers endless hours of safe, twirling fun for all abilities with easy wheelchair access.  Add to this our Soft Play Area, Go Karts, Brand New Jumping Pillows, Pedal Tractors, Trampolines, Bouncy Castles and Inflatable Slide – which are all included in your entry price, you are sure to be able to keep the whole family happy whatever the weather.

In addition to the jam packed daily schedule of activities there are special events throughout the year from the Easter EGGstravaganza to the Halloween Spooktacular and Winter Wonderland, there is always something going on.

The farm centre offers one of the best party venues in the area with packages to suit all ages from an Animaltastic Party to a Unicorn, Reptile and Mini Beast or Bird of Prey party. With prices starting from just £14 per child including party food, it is a brilliant and stress free option to give your child a truly memorable day.

Whitehouse Farm Centre opened as an attraction in May 1997 and within the Farm Centre there is a working farm which has been scaled down, although a small number of sheep and cattle are still bred. In January 2008 a Zoo licence was granted, which enables the Centre to continue to grow and evolve the collection of animals.
