Discover a world-renowned collection of awe-inspiring galleries and exhibitions depicting a plethora of historic and scientific wonders at the most visited Science Museum in Europe.
Take part in an entertaining storytelling workshop with fun hands-on activities, or, for an extra charge, enjoy the IMAX 3-D Cinema, simulators and other special exhibitions. There are over 15,000 objects on display including the iconic Apollo 10 Command capsule. Future astronauts can blast into space on an Apollo mission in the stunning 3-D simulator, or pilots can experience what it’s like to fly with the Red Arrows.
Scientists can conduct experiments in Wonderlab: The Statoil Gallery and explore the beauty of the science and maths that shape our everyday lives. Or discover the biggest breakthroughs and most surprising science stories in Tomorrow’s World.
School workshops and sessions are available to book online. The museum provides a variety of educational sessions that have been developed alongside the National Curriculum. Each session or workshop can be tailored to fit your specific needs and teachers are encouraged to lead pupils on a trail exploring the space-related exhibitions in the museums galleries.
The Science Museum is a place that inspires curiosity, wonder and awe every day, and a place where millions first discover their love of science.
