Sacrewell is known as a lovely place for children to see animals, and where they can run around in beautiful countryside. They can also let off steam in the state-of-the-art playbarn. But there’s a lot more to Sacrewell!
With help from the Heritage Lottery Fund, the 18th century watermill has been transformed into a national centre for milling excellence. You can take an interesting tour and find out how your great-grandparents got their daily bread.
Families can also join a tractor ride around the fields of the tenant farmers. As a charity dedicated to agricultural education, Sacrewell continue to welcome students of all ages who want to learn traditional skills and get an insight into rural life.
There's lots of wonderful Easter fun for everyone at Sacrewell in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. Held from the 29th March to the 1st April.
