White Tower

Trips to the Tower of London with the kids should include the Royal Armouries Museum. This iconic White Tower within the Tower of London exhibits the Royal Armouries’ exciting collection of arms, armour and historical artefacts. The origins of the Armouries can be traced back to the working armoury o the Medieval Kings of England. The Royal Armouries collection consists of over 70,000 example of armour, arms, and artillery dating from antiquity to the present day. Look out for armour of the Tudor and Stuart Kings and also the arms and armour of the Samurai Warriors or the Persian elephants. Educational sessions are also available to book.
