Redwings Aylsham Visitor Centre

Families can enjoy a lovely day out and meet the wonderful donkeys being cared for at Redwings Aylsham Visitor Centre!

Say hello to the lovable donkey duo Wiggins and Wacko, real-life Black Beauty Maya and resident troublemakers, the Gangsters! They are just some of the 50 rescued residents ready to meet you!

Since forming in 1984, Redwings now cares for over 1,500 rescued horses, donkeys, ponies and mules at its centres across the country. Centres include Redwings Aylsham in Norfolk, which is a Visit England Quality Assured Visitor Attraction.

Everything Redwings does is 100% funded by the public.

Enjoy a relaxing stroll around the centre’s peaceful wildlife walks, once you have met all the residents. These walks are perfect for keen ramblers and dog walkers!

Take time to enjoy hot drinks and warm lunches from Gulliver’s Café and explore the gift shop with a wide range of souvenirs. All proceeds go to supporting the hundreds of rescued donkeys, mules, ponies and horses in Redwings’ care.

Sponsor one of the charity’s adorable Adoption Stars. Adoption is available from just £15 per year and you can adopt for yourself, or as a thoughtful gift for a friend or loved one.

Entry and parking are free, but all donations really support the charity’s work. Dogs on leads are welcome.
