Free for families to visit and explore, the park, covering 169 acres, has walks and trails, craft area, areas for barbecues, picnics and adventure play area. The visitor centre houses the Ranger Service and offers information and advice, interpretative displays, snacks & refreshments. The park abounds with wildlife, including roe deer, fox, heron, water vole, bat and badger – a white squirrel has also been seen! There is also a 9 hole golf course and driving range. A family run cafЋ serving hot meals and snacks is also run independantly of the park.
