Mote Park

Maidstone’s largest park, Mote Park, is set in 450 acres of historic parkland qand is a great place to spend family time.

There are four play areas including a natural woodland play area for children aged 8 to 15 years and a skate park. There is also a BMX track, sports pitches, sports courts, a water-sports centre and a leisure centre!

Pop down to the lake where you can watch model boats; and on Sundays and bank holiday Mondays in the summer there is a miniature railway which is great fun! It runs from 2.30pm to 5pm and tickets cost .30p each.

If you would like to try your hand at fishing, you can purchase a permit from venues in Maidstone (www.maidstone.gov.uk/residents/parks-and-play-areas/mote-park). So pack a picnic, enjoy a day in the great outdoors and make the most of everything this lovely park has to offer!
