Midlothian Snowsports Centre

Visit Scotland’s best family wintersports destination without the winter weather! The Midlothian Snowsports Centre on the outskirts of Edinburgh boasts Britain’s largest outdoor slope.

With 2 main slopes, 3 nursery slopes a jump slope and a range of freestyle features the centre has something to satisfy every level of ability. Tuition, practice, skiing, snowboarding and tube rides are all available.

Tube sessions last for an hour and are open to both children and adults, although you must be over 4 years old and 1 metre in height to take part. Family tickets are available for the tubing sessions. The Snowsports Centre also offers Tubing parties, a great alternative for a Birthday or special occasion.

Café 360 at the centre is open daily, and provides a full range of hot and cold drinks and snacks along with great views from the balcony.
