Get the family out on the water for a really different and fascinating experience. There is a choice of either a relaxing RiverCruiser tour or an exciting JetBoat tour!
The RiverCruiser tours are ideal for anyone aged 0 to 90 years old. This fantastic riverboat offers one-hour circular tours, which pass under the historic Rochester Bridge and head towards Chatham Historic Dockyard and Upnor Castle, before returning back to the pier. Sit back, relax, take in the scenery and enjoy the informative commentary! As a price guide, tickets for the river cruise are adults £10, child £7, concessions £8 and family £30. Southend Day trips are adults £25, child £20, concessions £22 and family £70.
If you’re looking for something a little more adventurous then book a Jetboat experience and get that adrenaline pumping with 530HP of raw power! Reach the high-speed zone and hold on tight as the twin Jets catapult you past the 18th-century forts that lie on the fascinating islands of the Medway, built for protecting Chatham’s naval establishment. This is Kent’s ultimate Jetboat ride! This exhilarating ride is suitable for anyone aged 9 to 90 years old!
You can also take a tour further out into the Thames estuary to discover relics from the two world wars. This is an opportunity to get up close to the eerie Red Sand Towers. You will also pass Medway’s explosives shipwreck SS Montgomery and the Grain Tower. As a price guide, tickets for the Medway Raid are adults £33, child £23 and family £100. Tickets for the Medway Explorer are adults £45, child £35.
JetStream Tours offices are at Sun Pier House and the boats collect passengers at Rochester Pier and Sun Pier.
