With approximately 574-acres of restored historic parkland, Hylands Estate in Essex is open to the public free of charge. Explore the Estate on one of the five mapped walks, ranging from a 30-minute stroll to a four-mile leisurely hike.
Discover the Pleasure Gardens, the children’s One World Garden, celebrating the Centenary of Scouting, and the recently restored Serpentine Lake. Children will have a great time on the award-winning, accessible, castle-themed adventure playground, with its battlements, portcullis and a cool drawbridge entrance.
Hylands Park is also home to Go Ape Chelmsford offering adrenaline-filled high ropes activities for ages four years upwards (charges apply).
