Harts Barn Cookery School

Future chefs in the family? Find out what’s on for children at Harts Barn Cookery School in the Forest of Dean. There is a range of cooking experiences for all ages, from classes and demonstrations to children’s birthday parties and seasonal events.

Classes for kids vary during the year and cover bread making, pasta making, How To Cook Simple Meals, seasonal treats and other skills. Usually classes are suitable for ages seven years and over but younger children are welcome if an adult accompanies them.

If there’s a birthday in the family approaching, check out the party packages on offer. Young cooks can choose from themes such as simple chocolate making, bling cupcakes, sushi making and more. For older children, themes include sausage making, mocktails and afternoon tea.
