All the family can enjoy a great boating experience with The Harbour Ferry in Harwich. Enjoy an hour round trip on The Harbour Ferry, taking in the sights of the huge container port and ships, beautiful river mouths and sailing boats. It is also the easiest way to cross between Essex and Suffolk, while being on the water.

There are facilities at each of the departure points. Just five minutes from Felixstowe town you can board at Landguard Beach; 15 minutes from Ipswich, you can hop on at Shotley Marina; a 30-minute drive from Colchester you are at the Harwich departure point.

The boat rides have excellent reviews and are sure to be a hit with the kids. If you would rather hop off at either departure point, there is loads to do. In Harwich you can go seal watching or walk to Dovercourt Beach. In Felixstowe take a ride on the big Ferris Wheel or enjoy the Pier.
