Great Yarmouth Racecourse

Racing League is BACK for another year! Head to Great Yarmouth Racecourse as the hottest horseracing competition heads to the Norfolk coast on Thursday 25th July 2024 for Week 1 of the competitive tournament.

New for 2024, take the whole family along for an evening of jam-packed racing action and family entertainment. Here is what to expect:

• Dinosaur Family Zone – Meet pre-historic beasts and learn how to be a ranger. You will encounter T-rex, raptors and baby dinosaurs. Dig for bones in the ’Dino Dig’ sandpit.
• Racing to School – See what it takes to be a jockey on the equicizer!
• Treasure hunt – One for the kids to enjoy.
• Face painting – From gates opening.
• Fan Cam – Your chance to be featured on the big screen throughout the evening.
• Team Meet & Greets – Meet the East’s team players.

What is Racing League?

Racing League is a competition between seven regional teams – Ireland, Scotland, Yorkshire, The North, The East, Wales & The West, and London & The South – who compete over six horseracing fixtures across the country.

Heading to a new racecourse each week, teams compete against each other for valuable points. The team with the most points after the final race at Southwell Racecourse will be crowned 2024 Racing League Champions!

Each team is headed-up by a captain – a well-known personality in the industry. 2024 captains include Group-one winning trainer Jamie Osborne, TV presenter Mick Quinn, and Love Island star Chris Hughes, who will be leading Team East!

Premier Racing features the best of the best. Racing League is just one of the 170 Premier Racedays across British horseracing, showcasing the best quality racing in the sport. Expect to see high-quality racing!

Racing takes place at Great Yarmouth Racecourse from April to October only.
