Grand Western Canal Country Park details...
Start your visit at the interactive Visitor Centre. This elliptical building has interesting touch-screen displays that show the Canal’s rich natural and industrial history.
The Country Park meanders for 11 1/4 miles, and there are opportunities to go canoeing, kayaking and paddle-boarding. Walk along the tow-path and see the beautiful canal boats gently passing by.
Children can have lots of fun on the canal-themed play park and families can also have a go at Geo-caching.
