The Golden Hinde is a full-sized reconstruction of Sir Francis Drake’s 16th century galleon, the first English ship to sail around the world. This living history museum and the Elizabethan sailors onboard bring this exciting part of British history to life.

A variety of events take place throughout the year from shadow puppet theatre performances to storytelling.

This unique venue is available for children’s birthday parties, perfect for any young budding pirates!
