Cotswold Country Park and Beach

Packed with family activities, Cotswold Country Park and Beach is one of the great places to go with kids in Gloucestershire. Located in the Cotswold Water Park, near Cirencester, the park was formerly known as Keynes Country Park. There is something for everyone to enjoy.

The country park is home to the largest inland beach in the UK, perfect for paddling or a cooling dip on a summer’s day. There are 150 tons of sand on the beach so remember your buckets and spades!

New for 2017 was the Wibit AquaVenture Park in the North Lake. This inflatable water park with obstacles and challenges is a great hit with kids and adults alike. Wetsuits can be hired and places booked in advance – just call 01285 868096.

Other attractions include an adventure play park with equipment suitable for a wide age range, trails for family walks, watersports, boat and watercraft hire, BBQ pitches and cafes.

Why not have a go at paddle boarding? There are single, double and family boards available for hire. Alternatively, take to the water in a kayak or pedalo. Take a picnic or treat the family at the Pizzeria or the Beach Shack café.
