Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm details...

Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm is a Rare Breed Survival Trust (RBST) registered Rare Breeds Farm. It offers a fantastic-value, fun-filled family day out, suitable for all ages and interests.

There are so many gorgeous animals for you to meet, feed, cuddle and pet, most of which are British Rare Breeds. You will find Pig Corner, Rabbit Village, Goat Mountain, Donkey Den, The Chicken Coop, Duck & Geese Ponds, Pony Pastures, Sheep Shelters and the Farmyard. All of these are displaying the furry friends in enclosures so all ages can easily see the animals.

Look forward to animal activities throughout the day, giving you lots of opportunities to interact with the animals. Helpful and friendly staff will gladly answer all of your questions about the animals. During peak times and weather permitting, there are tractor-trailer rides around the Grazing Field.

There are also play areas and play equipment including an indoor playbarn as well as the 500 foot long, 32 foot high Tree Top Trail, in addition to the adventure play area with treehouse, zip-line and nest swing! Other play equipment includes climbing frames and trampolines as well as a nature walk, water gardens and more. See if you can spot the wild badgers, deer, foxes, squirrels, peacocks, stoats and many other wild animals while you are exploring.

Conveniently located on-site is the Ewe Tree Café & Bar, serving delicious homemade food, drinks and cakes. Guests are welcome to pop in to the café for food or drinks – it’s a great meeting place even if it’s too cold for you to visit the farm itself. Make sure you also take a look at the Gift Shop, packed full with gifts, toys, homeware and local artisan products. The onsite Stonehenge Hostel offers overnight accommodation on the farm.
