Enjoy a steam train ride at Buckinghamshire Railway Centre, which occupies an extensive site in rolling Buckinghamshire countryside near Aylesbury. Families can look forward to a great day out with plenty of things to see and do. Exhibits range from large express passenger locomotives to the humble shunting engine together with a host of smaller items recreating the golden age of steam.
Make the most of your visit by choosing a date when steam trains are operating and enjoy a relaxing trip. On these days there are also miniature railway rides and model trains to watch. As well as Steaming Days the events programme usually includes Day Out With Thomas™, themed days, a bus rally and Santa trains.
