A heritage railway with 25 acres to explore, Buckinghamshire Railway Centre has a stunning visitor centre, huge railway museum, café, gift shop, miniature and model railways, travelling post office carriages and steam train rides.
Steaming Days take place on Sundays and there are several special events during the year, from children’s character days (Thomas, Bluey, Zog, Paddington and others) to heritage vehicle rallies. A well-priced café is on site and birthday parties are catered for. It is also a wonderful wedding venue.
Opening times
The centre is mainly open from Easter to Halloween, but also open for February half term and four weekends running up to Christmas for the special Santa event. Closed in January and November.
