The British Music Experience tells the story of British Music through costumes, instruments, performance and memorabilia from the Beatles and Bowie to Adele, Oasis and X Factor. Take a family day out and step back into Britain’s musical tastes over seven decades, transport yourself to your favourite music era.
The museum is brimming with costumes and memorabilia belonging to your favourite music icons from outfits worn by David Bowie to musical instruments belonging to Noel Gallagher. Become a singing star in the vocal booth, have a go at playing top guitars and drums and dance away the decades in the dancing spotlight where you can make a selfie of yourself strutting your stuff!
There is a spacious cafe at the front of the museum where you can get hot and cold drinks and food, even if you are not going into the museum.
Tickets are available online and include an interactive guide. An annual pass is available giving unlimited entry for one year. Children under 5 years have free entry.
Last entry is 90 minutes before closing.
