One of the great free places to go with kids in the West Midlands is the wonderful Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery. Explore over 40 galleries and discover the world’s largest collection of Pre-Raphaelite art and the amazing the Staffordshire Hoard – the largest hoard of Anglo-Saxon gold ever found.
There are also Birmingham history collections and art and artefacts spanning back to the Romans and Greeks. Lots of interactive activities provide a hands-on experience for children.
See famous Diplodocus Dippy when he visits the West Midlands from 26th May to 9th September and learn about links between modern birds and dinosaurs.
