Plan a great family day out at Belton House near Grantham. This fine 17th-century house and surrounding parkland has plenty of things to do and see, admire opulent interiors with fine furnishings and stunning silverware, visit the basements to experience ’below stairs’.
Take a tranquil walk in beautiful gardens and spot deer in the parkland. The kids can play off energy in the large adventure playground, try the activity packs and trails.
Look out for special events and activities for kids including trails and living history weekends. Halloween and Christmas events are particular favourites for families.
There is a picnic area as well as a good tea room and ticket options if you wish to choose a visit to the grounds only.
