Barnsdale Gardens

All the family will enjoy a day out at the famous  T.V. gardens at Barnsdale where the late Geoff Hamilton began his Gardeners World career.

There are 38 gardens to admire, all with a different function and theme. Take a self-led tour of the gardens and the kids will love the Children’s Garden that was built to be fun, educational and environmental with a willow den for play, a mud hut for bird and wildlife watching and catching up on homework on hotter days, a seating area to ’chill’ and a water feature.

Make it a long family day, finishing off with a treat in the lovely tea rooms. There are family-friendly events and workshops on offer.
