Let’s look ahead to half term and beyond!

The leaves are changing colour and the nights are drawing in. This October and beyond look to us to find safe fun family days out near and far. We have something for everyone and have been thrown in a little Christmas cheer, after all, Christmas isn’t cancelled!

Where will you go this October?

Social distancing and hygiene measures have been implemented and it’s essential families pre-book tickets. This helps venues manage numbers and function safely. We would suggest booking at least a few weeks ahead of your trip and encourage families to check directly with the venue for the most up to date information as government advise can change at any time.


Jump In Trampoline Parks and Gravity Force

Jump In & Gravity Force ..Now open for safe half term FUN with easy to follow social distancing procedures that allow everyone to enjoy the trampolines, climbing walls and soft play.

Families can enjoy all the facilities in reduced capacity sessions.  So get your grip socks on, grab a few friends and bounce off our walls, then relax in our Tuck In Café.  Fright Night & Monster Bash Covid safe celebrations planned.


South East

Mercedes-Benz World – Surrey

Join us at Mercedes-Benz World for an exciting day out this October half term. Three to five-year olds can drive on the Little Learners purpose-built indoor track and Little Racers Simulators. There’s track and 4×4 Experiences for everyone over 1.5 metres tall. Plus, Spooky Simulators, a colouring competition, ceramic painting and our Haunting Halloween Trail. Keep the whole family entertained this half term at Mercedes-Benz World.


Guildford Spectrum – Surrey

Guildford Spectrum has a great choice of activities to keep the family entertained. You can enjoy ice skating, ten pin bowling or go for a swim in one of our four pools which includes a leisure pool, and with catering outlets on site you can make a day of it at Guildford Spectrum.


Bocketts Farm – Surrey

Visit Bocketts Farm during Wizards and Witches Week (24th October – 1st November). Enjoy a full packed programme of fun and freaky activities including a Spooky Quiz Trail and Reptile Roadshow, where you’ll get the chance to meet awesome creepy crawlies up close! Plus, don’t miss amazing Science & Slime shows from Einstein’s Entertainers and hundreds of pumpkins on sale! Daily activities include Tractor Rides and Small Animal Encounter sessions plus you can meet and feed all the friendly farm animals too! With a large heated indoor play barn, trampolines, pedal go karts and a jumping pillow, there’s plenty to enjoy, whatever the weather. Online booking essential due to limited visitor capacity.


Paradise Wildlife Park – Hertfordshire

Don’t miss the new CBBC series based at Paradise Wildlife Park called ‘One Zoo Three’! The series follows the extraordinary and hilarious lives of the three brothers, Aaron, Tyler and Cam, as they live and work at their family zoo.

Kent Life – Kent

Looking ahead to Christmas! Visiting Santa is still on the cards at Kent Life. In the magical grotto, decorate gingerbread, meet the elves and receive a special gift from Father Christmas! There’s even treats for grown-ups! Every child also receives a personalised letter in the post. Father Christmas will be with us on selected dates in December.


South West

AirHop Bristol

Jump into happy at AirHop Trampoline Park Bristol. AirHop is back and offers over 60,000 square feet of safe trampolining fun. They have set up a comprehensive set of Covid-19 health & safety measures which you can find on their website. All park features are currently open, except for the foam pit. Plus MiniHoppers for the under 5’s are back, new AirHIIT classes and you can even book a social bubble party for up to 6 for £99 only.


West Midlands

British Motor Museum, Warwickshire

Visit the British Motor Museum for some family fun this October half-term. The Museum is taking part in the national ‘Where’s Wally? Spooky Museum Search!’ so families will be able to hunt for Wally around the Museum. You can also join Professor Pickle and Dr Pumpkin for some socially distanced fun with their Rocket Science Shows!


Churnet Valley – Staffordshire

The Churnet Valley Railway offers a nostalgic steam train ride through Staffordshire’s hidden valley, and into the Staffordshire Moorlands. 2020 sees the annual Santa & Steam specials return for another year, but with a revamped format that will include an extended journey, a Northern Lights Experience and a theatrical performance brought to life before your very eyes on-board the Santa Express.



Kirklees Light Railway, West Yorkshire

Visit the home of Yorkshire’s Great Little Steam Trains this autumn and enjoy a good old fashioned family day out! With real steam locomotives, a café, miniature railway and adventure playgrounds, it’s a great way for the kids to let off some steam.  Pre-booking online is advised.
