The Just So Festival in Cheshire runs from Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd August and will be a wonderful family day out creating memories to last forever. The Just So Festival is an annual, unique weekend-long festival offering an imaginative outdoor adventure like no other and is the only arts camping festival in the UK dedicated solely to children and their families.

Medieval Weekends at Arundel Castle

Enjoy exciting weekends at Arundel Castle in Sussex when there’s just so much to see and do, such as exciting sword battles, birds of prey displays, the Blacksmith at work and Pipe and Drum Musicians.

Ocean Squad at the National Marine Aquarium

Teenagers with a passion for the ocean can join the Ocean Discovery Rangers for fun-filled days of ocean science experiments, beach games, stand-up paddle-boarding (SUP) lessons, snorkelling and rock-pooling, fish cookery lessons, behind the scenes tours and much more! Held on selected dates from 26th July to 27th August.

Pirates Ahoy! Boat Trip with the Kennet & Avon Canal Trust


Planning exciting activities for the school summer holidays? Book ahead for a trip on the Kennet & Avon Canal Trust’s pirate galleon. Put on your very best pirate outfits and join the pirate crew on board, ready to share the treasure. Trips last about an hour and leave from Bradford-on-Avon.

Pirates Ahoy! trips run on Tuesdays during the summer holidays, 27th July and 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th August.
