Family events and places to go in June

As the last May Bank Holiday fades away we’ve been on the look out for fun family events this June. Half Term starts the month off nicely and whilst your kids have some time off from school check our check our May Half Term post for lots of family ideas. As kids get ready for the long school holidays why not get them active and think about some of the fun things they can do with other kids their age during weekends and the long school holidays.

Fun summer activities with Barracudas

Keep the kids moving this summer holiday! Barracudas Activity Day Camps operate during the summer holidays (Ofsted registered) for children aged 4.5-14 years at 39 locations across the South-East. Spending the holidays with Barracudas means children get to: develop new skills, make new friends, try new activities and most of all have FUN! With 80+ activities there is plenty to keep children entertained.

The camps work with flexible hours from 8am to 6pm which can help to fit in with busy parents and other summer commitments.

Camps activities are age-specific for each day and there are also camps for skill builder courses like swimming, acting and stage, science experiments and motor mania where kids get to try a selection of quad bikes and go-karts. More…

Animal Adventures

During June the warmer days will entice the animals out of their homes and into the paddocks and enclosures where kids can see them up close. We have a special feature just for animals which will give you our pick of some of our favourites for summer. Join in activities such as the Marvellous Monsters at Longleat, Dinosaur Day with Rex at Pennywell Farm or a under 5s picnic party at Dudley Zoo. Plan ahead for summer and get the kids signed up for Junior Experience Days at The Deep on 25th & 26th July.
