Take the children to enjoy the Medieval Jousting Weekend at Stonor Park near Henley-on-Thames. This popular event in the Oxfordshire estate’s calendar returns on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th June. So plan a family day out and see the Knights of Royal England perform dramatic and entertaining displays at 12.30pm and 2.30pm each day.

Tickets start from £11.50, with children under the age of two and carers entering for free.

Big Bug Bonanza at WWT Arundel Wetland Centre

Go on a bug hunt at WWT Arundel and discover all sorts of fascinating insects on the land, in the air and on the water! Take along your magnifying glass and discover the little things that run the world – insects! There are wonderful family pond dipping sessions, where you can get close up to diving beetles, caddis fly larvae and pond skaters, led by the friendly Learning Team. Collect your spotter sheets, which are full of tips on where and what to watch for in the world of insects!
