Nowadays, there are plenty of restaurant choices to suits your child’s age and maturity level. We’ve complied a few top tips for an easier (we hope!) dining experience with the family!
- If your child is under 4, or is generally a shuffle bottom, it may be hard for your child to keep still for a long time. Choose family-style restaurants that offer wide booths, kids’ menus and a forgiving serving staff.
- Avoid peak times to ensure less time waiting
- Look up online menus before you go, it can save time as well!
- Look for places with a children’s menu, crayons or colouring activities to keep your little ones entertained
- Many restaurants offer special family days, or family deals
- Let your children order their own food (if they are old enough!) Maybe they could order something they don’t usually eat, or just go for a familiar favourite, no pressure!
- Choose a venue where there’s something extra – many places have play areas or kids’ corners to entertain!

Hard Rock Cafe in Picadilly, London
