Zipmas at Llechwedd

Looking for places to see Santa in North Wales? Board the cable railway at Llechwedd slate mine and make the short journey through festive tunnels to find Santa’s Grotto deep underground. You will discover three enchanting chambers – the light maze, Santa’s Workshop and finally elves will guide you to Santa’s Grotto. Santa will be waiting to welcome you with a present and a slate bauble.

Then it will be time to hop back on the train and return to the surface where you can decorate your slate bauble at the Bauble Decorating Station, refuel in the Llechwedd Caffi and post that all-important letter to Santa. For an extra treat, why not book the Grotto Golf package and include a visit to the UK’s only adventure golf course in a cave?
