Yuck Yard at The Historic Dockyard Chatham details...

Open 18th Oct - 26th Oct

This October half term, dive into a spooky family adventure filled with mystery and mayhem.
Legends tell of the Medway Phantom – a fearsome warship lost to a raging storm just off the Kent coast.

Rumours say its crew were doomed after plundering forbidden riches from the ocean depths.

Now, the Phantom has emerged once more from the River Medway’s dark waters, carrying eerie echoes, slimy surprises and a long-buried secret.

Pieces of her final message are hidden through time. Will you solve the trail, discover the truth, and break the Phantom’s curse?

When you arrive, you’ll be handed your own Log Book. Follow the route, meet mysterious survivors and gather evidence. With the help of a special decoder, you could be the one to crack the Phantom’s code.

The Last Survivors (Live Interactive Show) – Step inside the chilling legend and encounter the last sailors of the Medway Phantom. Trapped between storm and shadow, they’ve waited centuries to share their haunting tale. This 20-minute immersive performance takes place several times a day, surrounding you with crashing waves and restless spirits. Join in to summon the sounds of the storm, stand beside the cursed crew and listen carefully – a hidden clue for your Log Book might just be revealed before the survivors vanish once again.
