Treat the family to tickets for The Insect Circus, the summer show on the Puppet Theatre Barge. This magical theatre inside a beautifully converted barge is the UK’s only floating puppet theatre and has been touring the Thames for more than 40 years.
The Insect Circus invites the audience to forget reality and become immersed in the strange and beautiful world of insects. Beetles and grasshoppers, wasps and dragonflies, demonstrate their dexterity with great skill and humour! The show is performed using marionettes (string puppets) and there are multiple performances at Abbey Meadows in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, between June 29th and August 11th 2024.
This production runs for 45 minutes and can be enjoyed by the whole family but is aimed at ages 4-11 years old.
