ExperiMENTAL Science Workshops at Bedwellty House and Park

Book the kids into a hands-on workshop with ExperiMENTAL Science at Bedwellty House and Park in Blaenau Gwent, South Wales. Perfect for budding scientists, there are four workshops planned over the summer and autumn, with a different theme each time.

Workshops are suitable for ages four years and over and cost £11.50 per child.

The Science of Sweets – 30th May

Perfect treat for May half term. Inspired by Willy Wonka, this adventure offers the chance to investigate the science involved in making favourite sweet treats. Young scientists will be able to use scientific equipment and techniques to create their own sweets.

Crazy Chemistry – 30th June

An interactive mini science show featuring colour changes and eruptions, followed by a chance to make Chromatography Butterflies, Test Tube Rainbows and more.

Fantastic Physics – 13th August

This workshop focuses on learning more about electricity with a hair-raising generator, making human circuits and blowing up huge balloons in just one puff! Kids will then make paper rockets, thaumatropes and levitating ping pong balls.

Spooktacular Potions – 30th October

Prepare for Halloween with a science workshop filled with seasonal fun!
