Santa Safari at the West Midlands Safari Park

The West Midland Safari Park’s Santa Safari offers a truly magical family day out in Worcestershire as Christmas approaches. Families can combine seeing a host of fabulous animals with a visit to Father Christmas.

Your visit to Santa’s Grotto will start with a greeting in the Discovery Trail from one of Santa’s Elves, who will magically transport you to the North Pole with delightful characters and dazzling northern lights. Then enter Santa’s Enchanted Elevator, a new attraction for Christmas 2024, and take a short ride to find Santa waiting in a beautifully decorated log cabin complete with festive fireplace and a Christmas tree.

Kids can explain to Santa what they would like on Christmas Day. Meanwhile, a helpful Elf will snap a picture of Santa and his young visitors together. Then it is time to call in at the Elves’ Workshop to choose a gift. Finally, enjoy complimentary refreshments at one of the festive food outlets and visit Mrs Claus’s Craft Club to write your letter to Santa and make reindeer food.

Tickets to see Santa also include the four-mile Safari Drive-through and access to walk-through exhibits such as Land of the Living Dinosaurs. The kids will be thrilled to spot wildlife from around the world such as lions, rhinos, elephants and tigers. The Adventure Theme Park rides will be closed throughout the winter.
