Take the family to see this major exhibition – Pirates at the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth, Cornwall.
Discover all about Pirates and find out if they were heroes of the age or just callous cut-throats! They have always been portrayed in film, fiction and fashion as symbols of freedom and adventure. How and why has this image been created?
Immerse yourselves in the digital world of the Sea of Thieves game, and land on Treasure Island! You can also meet the man behind Long John Silver and dance a hornpipe with Horatio Pugwash. Then discover the dark world of the real pirates of the Caribbean.
Little ones can also enjoy Skull Island Play Zone! There they can become a pirate for the day and hoist the Jolly Roger. They can climb the island fort and captain the crew from the quarterdeck, whilst keeping a watchful eye for mischievous intruders.
Families can purchase the Museum’s annual admission fee, where one can pay once and get in free for a year.
