Each workshop runs from 10am to 3pm, costs £40 and is suitable for ages 12-16 years.

Sound Design for the Stage – 28th October

An introduction for young people interested in how sound is designed and created for live performance. Join Matt Eaton, sound designer and composer, for a practical workshop which explores the world of sound in theatre. Then take part in fun exercises using equipment and discover how sound engages our senses and helps to tell stories on stage.

This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as young people who have an interest or some experience of working with sound.

Creative Makeup: Special Effects – 30th October

Become a theatrical media-makeup artist for the day! Explore how characters are developed from the page to the stage with professional creative makeup artist Zoe Tiley.

This is a practical hands-on workshop, allowing you the chance to design face charts and work with professional stage makeup products. So learn how special effects makeup is designed and applied in the theatre. Also, create your own unique Halloween-inspired look.
