Why not fit in a visit to Bletchley Park in Buckinghamshire this October half term? With plenty of exciting activities for all the family and lots of open space to explore, it is a great day out for all ages – and children under 12 years have free admission!
On the Monday, Wednesday and Friday of half-term week, join in special family activities such as playing with LEGO robots to learn more about radar and having a go at naval codebreaking.
Meanwhile, on the Tuesday and Thursday visitors can join an Interactive Family Tour to find out about the people and machines that helped break the Enigma cipher at Bletchley Park during the Second World War. There may even be the chance to try some top-secret war work yourselves! See whether you could have been a code-breaker or a dispatch rider. Book tours at the Information desk when you arrive.
Activities are ideal for families with children aged 5-14 years.
