October Half Term at Stratford-upon-Avon Butterfly Farm details...

Open 26 Oct - 3 Nov

Plan a visit to Stratford-upon-Avon Butterfly Farm for October half term and learn more about the incredible migration story of the monarch butterfly and why the butterfly is associated with Dia de Muertos, or Day of the Dead, celebrations in Mexico. One of the rarest migrants found in the British Isles, monarch butterflies arrive like clockwork in Mexico during early November – the time of Dia de Muertos.

Head to the Discovery Zone for daily butterfly lifecycle demonstrations at 11am. You will be able to see beautiful orange monarchs in flight and some brightly coloured black and yellow caterpillars. There will also be a gruesome insect fact family trail to complete as you wander through the Flight Area.
