Medieval Re-enactment Day at Denbigh Castle details...

Open 20th Jun - 21st Jun

Don’t miss the Medieval Re-enactment Days at Denbigh Castle over Father’s Day weekend this June. Part of Denbigh’s Midsummer Festival, this two-day event is a great way to bring history alive for all ages.

There will be have-a-go archery and children will be able to practise their sword skills during squire training. Join the Princes Retinue and find out how a knight is dressed ready for the combat scene, due to begin at the end of the day. Chat to the re-enactors to learn what daily life might have been like at the castle in the medieval period.

No need to book tickets in advance.

Please see Cadw’s website for further information.
