Christmas at Alderford

Join in the festive fun at Alderford in Shropshire this Christmas. Once again families can enjoy a boat journey to visit Santa on his secret island in Alderford Lake as well as skating on the real ice rink.

Dates of individual attractions vary.

Get your skates on and take the family to enjoy Ice Skating by the Lake. All abilities are welcome on the real-ice rink, which is mostly undercover with an outdoor ice track. The minimum age for skaters is determined by the minimum skate size on offer, which is children’s size 6. A limited number of polar bear skate aids are available for hire. Dates: selected dates from 27th November.

For a very special meeting with Santa this Christmas, book tickets for Alderford’s Santa Island Experience. This magical adventure includes a boat journey across the lake to reach the island of Santa and his mischievous elves. Once on the island you will be welcomed by the elves with a treat and story. Then follow the Wishing Elf over her Wishing Bridge to make your Christmas wish, help the elves hard at work in their toy workshop and visit Santa’s Grotto. Dates: selected dates from 27th November to 23rd December.
