Don’t miss these opportunities for kids to get hands on with some of the collections at the History of Science Museum in Oxford. On selected weekends until late November, visitors can join volunteers and learn more about the museum’s ingenious scientific instruments. There will also be activities suitable for families with children aged seven years and over.

Before you go on to explore the galleries, pick up a Light and Space Backpack to help you discover fascinating science stories throughout the museum. There are also Family Scavenger Hunt Trails to keep young visitors busy; choose from Spot the Animal, Mission: Morse Code and more.
