Halloween at Eureka!

Dust off your Halloween fancy dress costumes and enjoy a day out at Eureka! The National Children’s Museum in Halifax, West Yorkshire, this October half term. In addition to the normal activities, this truly child-friendly museum is inviting families to join in a range of special events and activities.

Activities vary depending on the date of your visit.

Get creative with junk and recycled materials at Spooky SCRAPtastic Workshops or enrol in Dragon Tamer Survival School and become the apprentice of a Wicked Witch and a Wonderful Wizard. You may even meet a baby dragon!

See Julia Donaldson’s beloved tale come to life at interactive Room on the Broom – Storytime Sessions. Drop into the Imagination Space for Simbrix Frights and Fireworks to create and customise your own mess-free pixel art. The youngest visitors can join in Autumn Sensory Play for Under 5s in the Creativity Space and find out more about autumn with interactive and craft-based activities.

It is essential to book all visits in advance. Booking may be required for some activities.
