Fantasea at Bristol Aquarium

See myths and legends come to life at Bristol Aquarium’s Fantasea event this February. Discover how many myths can trace their origins back to the aquatic world. For instance, did you know that the narwhal is believed to be the origin of the unicorn myth? Learn how the iconic tusks were valued by royalty and churches across Europe during the Middle Ages and how they were thought to have healing properties.

Find out about habitats around the world as you explore and search for mythical beasts that have escaped from storyland! Will you manage to track them all down? Other activities include meeting the aquarium’s own magical mermaid and making mad mushrooms and jazzy jellyfish at the craft workshop.
