Family Fun at Eastnor Castle

Treat the family to a day out at Eastnor Castle near Ledbury in Herefordshire this summer. From family fun days and animal encounters to a steam and vintage day, there is something for everyone. So find out what’s on and join in the fun.

Eastnor Steam and Vintage – 28th-29th May

Over the last weekend in May visitors to Eastnor can step back to the past and admire a line-up of vintage cars and steam engines in the Castle Courtyard. In addition there will be giant garden games, a vintage carousel, model steam engine rides, old-fashioned dance workshops, a chair swing and more.

Family Fun Day – 5th June and 10th July

Look out for additional family entertainment such as garden games and a zip-wire on the Valley Lawn. Weight and height restrictions apply.

Animal Encounters – 12th June and 17th July

If the kids are fascinated by wildlife, choose Sundays 12th June or 17th July for a family day out as visitors will be able to see and discover more about a fascinating range of exotic animals.

Eastnor SOS – 19th June

Learn more about the work of the local emergency services, who will be putting on displays.

Climbing Wall – 26th June

The 25ft-high climbing wall on the Valley Lawn is sure to be a hit with young visitors aged five years and over.

Birds of Prey Displays – 3rd July

Head to the Valley Lawn to see birds of prey in both flying and static displays.
