Christmas at Old Down Country Park

Check out the Christmas events at Old Down Country Park in South Gloucestershire this winter and start planning a festive family outing. Visit on 24th November for Old Down’s annual Christmas Launch featuring the Christmas Parade, entertainment and a Santa Fun Run in aid of Age UK.

Looking for places to meet Santa in South Gloucestershire? Lucky children can enjoy Breakfast with Santa in the cosy Barn or Visit Santa in his grotto. Both events are available 20th-24th December.

On selected dates from 24th November to 24th December visitors can wrap up for the evening chill and discover the Festive Illumination Trail. Discover a world of music, colour and mesmerising lights as you follow the route around the grounds. Visit the festive village to toast marshmallows and tuck into hot chocolates and other treats. Kids can get creative with seasonal crafts and there will be a chance to meet some of Old Down’s friendly animals.
