Christmas at Hertfordshire Zoo

Discover a Christmas wonderland brimming with festive cheer, special activities such as the Elf Adventure Trail and magical twinkling lights at Hertfordshire Zoo this Christmas. One of the highlights is sure to be meeting Santa in his Christmas Grotto and passing on any Christmas wishes. Each child will receive a small gift.

Meanwhile, the zookeepers have planned seasonal talks offering a great chance to learn more about favourite animals. The animals themselves will be enjoying Christmas-themed enrichment toys. Head to the catering outlets for a tempting array of seasonal delights when everyone gets hungry.

If you are visiting on a Saturday, keep your eyes open for the Grinch with his green fur and grumpy demeanour. The Grinch will be roaming around the zoo, meeting visitors and sharing his own brand of seasonal humour.

Day tickets include meeting Santa, which is available on a first come, first served basis, subject to availability.
